Airplane Noise:

There are two documents you can review that may help answer your questions about the ongoing problem of airplanes which fly over Surfside and make lots of noise. First, there is a report/FAQ written by Surfside Association member (and private pilot) Paul Heintz which was updated in June 2019. Second, there is a brochure published by Nantucket Airport that describes how flight patterns should work and what they are trying to do in order to reduce airplane noise over the island.
